Strawberries With Homemade Mascarpone

Ingredients:


2 pints strawberries -- hulled, washed (raspberries may be substituted)

8 ounces mascarpone

2 tablespoons pure vanilla

6 tablespoons sugar

1/2 cup half-and-half

2 large egg yolks
 

Preparation / Directions:


Divide fruit among 4 large wine glasses. Set aside. In a blender, combine mascarpone, vanilla, sugar, half-and-half and egg yolks. Blend until smooth, about 2 minutes.
