Zabaglione Cake Frosting

Ingredients:


1/2 cup sugar

1/2 cup whipping cream

2 1/2 ounces unsweetened chocolate

1/4 cup unsalted butter -- room temp

1/2 teaspoon vanilla

1 pint strawberries -- garnish
 

Preparation / Directions:


For frosting: Heat cream and sugar in heavy small saucepan until sugar dissolves, swirling pan occasionally. Bring to boil, stirring constantly. Reduce heat and simmer very gently until thick and syrupy, adjusting heat so liquid is barely shaking, about 1
