Ingredients:


6 1/2 pounds ripe figs -- (see note No. 1)

2 1/2 medium crushed pineapple

4 1/2 pounds sugar

1/4 cup lemon juice

1 tablespoon cinnamon

1 tablespoon cloves

1 tablespoon allspice
 

Preparation / Directions:


Weigh figs after peeling, removing only the peeling that easily pulls off with the stem. Mash peeled figs to fine pulp, add other ingredients. Mix thoroughly and cook until thick, stirring constantly. Pour into hot sterile jars and seal.
