Layered Cherry Whip

Ingredients:


8 ounces pitted dark sweet cherries

1 package jello cherry flavor gelatin -- 3oz

1 1/2 cups crushed ice
 

Preparation / Directions:


Drain cherries, reserving syrup. Add water to syrup to make 1 cup; bring to a boil. Place cherries in individual glasses. Combine gelatiin and boiling liquid in electric blender container. Cover and blend at low speed until gelatin is dissolved, 1 minute. Add crushed ice; then blend at high speed until ice is melted, 30 seconds. Pour into glasses. DO NOT STIR. Chill at least 15 minutes, or until set. Makes 4 cups or 6 servings.
