Preparation / Directions:Arrange ham and pineapple alternately on twenty 6-inch bamboo skewers; set aside. In a small saucepan, combine chili sauce and cornstarch. Stir in jelly, mustard and orange peel. Cook and stir over low heat until thickened. Preheat broiler. Place oven rack 5 to 8 inches from heating element. Place a wire rack in a broiler pan. Arrange skewered ham and pineapple on rack; brush with jelly sauce. Turning and brushing with sauce several times, broil about 3 minutes until hot. Arrange boiled kabobs on a large platter; serve warm.
Well, I enjoy this list because it is structured, but not so structured you can't enjoy it. I enjoy this list because almost everyone on the list tries to be helpful. I enjoy this list because I can post when I want to and lurk when I need to. I enjoy this list because so many people post so many great recipes. Just think, while I am sitting here someone is looking up and typing recipes to save me the trouble and to add to my collection and they are doing this for me out of the goodness of their heart. Not for pay or for accolades. I just love this list. I feel like it is a part of my everyday life.
As for my first memory of the list: When I first joined, I thought I was signing up for some kinda news letter where you get a recipe a day or a week. The next day I woke up to over 300 messages. I could not believe it. I had never heard of a list and did not know what it would be like. Thank goodness I signed up. I have made friends that I hope to keep forever and I have found a hobby that not only can I enjoy alone I can share with many other
