Beef Kebabs

Ingredients:


1 pound boneless top sirloin steak, trimmed of fat

3 Tablespoons canola oil

1 1/2 Tablespoon red wine vinegar

1 teaspoon minced garlic

1/2 teaspoon dried thyme

1 teaspoon dry mustard

1/4 teaspoon salt

1/4 teaspoon pepper

2 medium sweet bell red or green peppers, seeded

2 medium sweet onions
 

Preparation / Directions:


1. Cut beef into 1" cubes. Mix oil, vinegar, garlic, herbs and seasonings together in a glass dish. Stir in beef cubes, coating all surfaces with mixture, cover and marinate in refrigerator for several hours (2-12).

2. Cut peppers into 1" cubes; cut onions into small wedges.

3. Alternate beef and vegetables on 4 skewers, leaving a small space between pieces of food. Liberally brush each kebab with marinade and then discard marinade. Grill kebabs over medium coals about 4" from heat source.

4. Grill for 8-10 minutes turning skewers every 2-3 minutes. Or cook in a preheated broiler, 4" from heat.

5. Cook until beef is cooked through and vegetables are tender.
