Baked Lamb Shanks

Ingredients:


6 piece lamb shanks -- cracked

3 cloves garlic

3 teaspoons salt

1/2 teaspoon pepper

3 Medium onions -- sliced

4 small carrots -- cut in thin strips

4 medium celery stalks -- 2 inch strips

2 pieces bay leaves

1 teaspoon oregano

1 teaspoon thyme

1/2 cup dry white wine

8 ounces tomato paste
 

Preparation / Directions:


Rub lamb shanks with garlic and season with salt and pepper. Place vegetables in bottom of removable liner; add meat and all other ingredients. Place liner in base. Cover and cook on low 8-10 hours, high 4-5 hours or auto 6-7 hours.
