CHOCOLATE CARAMELS

Ingredients:


1 ounce unsweetened baking chocolate, (bakers)

2 tablespoons butter

1 tablespoon heavy whipping cream, Deans

1/4 teaspoon vanilla

4 packages equal sweetener OR 1/8 cup Splenda

9 pieces Carousel caramels (melted)

1/2 ounce macadamia nuts
 

Preparation / Directions:


Melt the chocolate and the butter in double boiler system (or microwave in microwave safe bowl for 2 minutes and let sit for 1 minute, then stir), remove from heat and stir in cream and vanilla. Stir in sweetener and melted caramels. Fold in macadamia nuts. Pour into foil-lined cupcake holders or other appropriate molds and chill.
