Spare Ribs And Sauerkraut

Ingredients:


3 pounds spare ribs

1/4 teaspoon pepper

1 quart sauerkraut -- washed and drained

1 large tart apple -- chopped

1 large raw potato -- grated

1 teaspoon caraway seed
 

Preparation / Directions:


Arrange spare ribs in a 2 quart oblong baking dish. Cover with plastic wrap. Microwave at medium (50%) 20 minutes. Turn spare ribs over. Cover Microwave at medium (50%) 20 minutes. Drain. Combine pepper, sauerkraut, apple, potato and caraway seed. Spread on top of ribs. Cover with plastic wrap. Microwave at medium (50%) until spare ribs are fork tender, 1 5 to 20 minutes. Makes 6 servings.
