Puerto Rican-Style Pork Rub

Ingredients:


2 tablespoons cumin -- ground

2 tablespoons garlic -- minced

2 tablespoons cilantro -- fresh, rough chopped

2 tablespoons black pepper -- freshly cracked

2 tablespoons salt

2 tablespoons white vinegar

2 tablespoons yellow mustard

2 tablespoons jalapeno pepper -- minced

2 tablespoons olive oil
 

Preparation / Directions:


Combine all ingredients and mix well. Use within two days of preparing. Rub pork butt with spice mixture and smoke for 1 1/2 hours per pound at 240-250F.
