Jamaican Jerk Seasoning Mix

Ingredients:


4 tablespoons sugar

3 tablespoons onion powder

3 tablespoons dried thyme -- crushed

2 tablespoons ground allspice

2 tablespoons ground black pepper

2 tablespoons ground red pepper

1 tablespoon salt

1 1/2 teaspoons ground nutmeg

3/4 teaspoon groud cloves
 

Preparation / Directions:


1. Combine all ingredients and store in an airtight container. Storage and Use: Keeps for about 6 months at room temperature. Sprinkle or rub over chicken, seafood meats or vegetables for grilling or broiling. Can also be used to spice up simple rice or bean dishes.
