Ingredients:


1/4 cup water

1 tablespoon corn syrup

1 cup granulated white sugar

1/2 pound butter

2 1/2 pounds almonds -- blanched and slivered

1 1/2 cups milk chocolate chips
 

Preparation / Directions:


In heavy skillet combine sugar, water, syrup, butter and almonds and cook to hard crack or until the almonds are toasted light brown. Stir constantly. Pour into a greased baking pan. While warm sprinkle the milk chocolate chips over mixture and spread when softened. Let cool, remove from pan, and break into pieces.
