Sweet And Sour Onions

Ingredients:


1 pound sweet onion

1 teaspoon apple cider vinegar

1 teaspoon sugar

2 teaspoons catsup

1/2 teaspoon salt

1 cup water

1 teaspoon cornstarch
 

Preparation / Directions:


place sliced onions into a large non-reactive saucepan add vinegar, sugar, catsup, salt, and water bring to a boil, reduce to a low flame, cover, and simmer for 20 minutes combine cornstarch with an additional 1/4 cup water-mix well stir into saucepan heat and stir until thickened remove from heat serve hot, warm, or at room temperature
