Preparation / Directions:In a bowl, combine crackers with 1/4 C melted butter. Press around bottom and sides of a 10-inch pie plate. Saute onions and remaining butter until tender. (I sometimes carmelize them) Add milk, eggs, salt and cheese. Pour mixture into prepared pie crust. Bake in a 300 oven for 50-60 minutes or until pie is golden.
