Penne with Sun Dried Tomato Sauce

Ingredients:


1 pound penne pasta

1/2 cup sun dried tomato strips in oil -- drained

1 clove garlic crushed

2 cups light cream or half and half

10 ounces frozen peas -- thawed

1/4 cup grey poupon dijon mustard

1 tablespoons chopped fresh basil -- or 1 teaspoon dried basil leaves
 

Preparation / Directions:


Cook pasta according to package directions; drain. Meanwhile, in medium saucepan, over medium heat, cook and stir sun dried tomatoes and garlic for 2 minutes. Reduce heat to low. Stir in light cream or half and half, peas, mustard and basil. Cook for 1 to 2 minutes or until heated through. Toss with hot cooked pasta to coat.
