Ingredients:


2 cups flour

1/2 teaspoon salt

1/4 cup unsalted butter

1/4 cup vegetable shortening

1 large egg

1/4 cup water
 

Preparation / Directions:


sift flour and salt together cut in butter and shortening to the size of small peas add water to beaten egg to make 1 cup sprinkle flour mixture over egg-mix well continue until mixture forms a ball and almost cleans bowl shape into a rectangle wrap in plastic and chill for 60 minutes rollout and fill as desired bake @ 425 degrees for 20-25 minutes, until golden serve warm or at room temperature
