Ingredients:


1/2 cup shortening

1 cup sugar

1 large egg

1 cup milk

1 teaspoon vanilla

2 cups flour

1/2 teaspoon salt

1/2 cup cocoa powder

1/2 teaspoon baking powder

1 1/2 teaspoons baking soda

---FILLING---

1/2 cup shortening

1 cup powdered sugar

1 cup marshmallow fluff

1/2 teaspoon vanilla

1 teaspoon milk
 

Preparation / Directions:


Preheat oven to 375. Cream shortening and sugar. Mix in egg, milk, and vanilla. Sift dry ingredients together and add. Drop by teaspoonful on a cookie sheet, flatten with the bottom of a glass and and bake for 8 minutes. Cool and put filling between cakes. Makes 3 dozen pies.
