Caramel Popcorn 4

Ingredients:


1 cup popcorn -- popped

2 cups brown sugar

2 sticks margarine or butter

1/2 cup corn syrup

1/2 teaspoon soda

1/2 teaspoon salt
 

Preparation / Directions:


In a medium pan, cook the brown sugar, margarine, corn syrup and salt for 5 minutes. Remove pan from stove and add the soda. Pour over popped corn. Mix well. Divide the mixture into two large pans. Put into oven for 2 hours, stirring at 1/2 hour intervals. Oven temperature should be 200 degrees.
