CROCKPOT PORK BARBECUE-Betty

Ingredients:


5 pound fresh pork shoulder (5-7 lb)

1 tablespoon salt

2 tablespoon sugar

1/2 teaspoon pepper to taste

1 1/4 cup vinegar

1/2 cup ketchup

1/2 cup barbecue sauce

1 1/2 tablespoons crushed red pepper

1 dash hot sauce
 

Preparation / Directions:


Put pork in crockpot. Sprinkle salt and pepper over shoulder and add vinegar. Cover and simmer 12 hours. Remove pot and pick meat from bones. Strain liquid and keep approximately 2 cups. Add remaining ingredients. Mix with minced meat and return to crockpot. Cook on low until juice is cooked down or cool on high setting for shorter time. Freezed well.
