Preparation / Directions:Frshen the herrings in water for 24 to 36 hours, changing water 2 or 3 times, remove entrails, scrape and wash. Put them on to boil in cold water, adding a little vinegar to the water. Boil gently for about 5 to 7 minutes, adding some parsley. Serve with boiled potatoes and butter creamsauce.
