Cranberry Pudding

Ingredients:


1 large egg

1/2 cup molasses

1/3 cup hot water

1 1/3 cups bread flour

2 teaspoons baking powder

2 cups fresh cranberries -- cut in halves

1/2 cup butter

1 cup sugar

1/2 cup cream

1/8 teaspoon vanilla
 

Preparation / Directions:


Beat egg, add molasses and hot water. beat in flour sifted with baking powder. Mix in cranberries last. Steam 1 1/2 hours. Serve with 1/2 cup butter, 1 cup sugar, 1/2 cream. Boil this until slightly thick. Add a few drops of vanilla.
