Hot Bacon Dressing

Ingredients:


2 slices bacon

2 pounds beef sirloin, -- cut into strips

1 1/2 tablespoons onion - chopped

1 large onion -- thinly sliced

1 medium green pepper -- cut into strips

1 can tomato soup

2 teaspoons Italian seasoning

1 teaspoon garlic salt

1 teaspoon pepper, to taste

3/4 cup beef broth
 

Preparation / Directions:


Brown beef in oil. add onion and green pepper and saute. Add remaining ingredients. Cover and reduce heat; simmer for 1 hour. Serve with cooked pasta. Note: I use beef base mixed with water rather then canned beef broth. This freezes well.
