Pear Salsa

Ingredients:


2 tablespoons vegetable oil

1 medium onion -- chopped

1 medium green pepper -- chopped fine

1 large garlic clove -- chopped fine

2 tablespoons finely chopped parsley

1 tablespoon lemon juice

1/2 teaspoon salt

1 tablespoon chopped fresh oregano or

1 teaspoon dried oregano

1 tablespoon chopped fresh basil or

1 teaspoon dried basil

1/2 teaspoon tabasco sauce

2 medium tomatoes -- seeded and chopped course

2 medium pears -- peeled and chopped,
 

Preparation / Directions:


Heat oil in medium frypan. Saute onion until tender, about 3 to 4 minutes. Add green pepper, garlic, parsley, lemon juice, salt, oregano, basil and Tobasco sauce; cook 2 minutes. Remove frypan from heat and stir in tomatoes and pears. Cover and refrigerate. Make 5 cups.
