Broiled Open-Faced Vegetarian Sandwich

Ingredients:


2 slices Italian bread -- 1 inch thick

2 teaspoons reduced-calorie margarine

1 medium Tomato slices

1 medium Zucchini slices

1 medium Onion slices

1 medium Green pepper slices

1 teaspoon Garlic powder

1 bunch Basil

1 teaspoon Pepper

2 ounces part-skim mozzarella cheese
 

Preparation / Directions:


Spread bread with 1 teaspoon margarine on each. Top with tomato, zucchini, onion, and green pepper slices. Sprinkle with garlic powder, basil, and pepper; top with cheese. Broil until browned on edges and cheese is melted.
