Chocolate Almond Sauce

Ingredients:


1/4 cup unsalted butter

1/8 teaspoon kosher salt

2 ounces unsweetened chocolate

3/4 cup half and half

1 cup sugar

1/2 teaspoon vanilla

1/8 teaspoon almond extract

1/2 cup blanched almonds
 

Preparation / Directions:


Combine butter and chocolate in a bowl set over hot water and stir until melted stir in sugar, until dissolved remove from heat gradually stir in salt and cream set back over hot water and stir until thoroughly blended remove from heat stir in vanilla, almond extract, and almonds serve warm
