Ingredients:


4 fillets holland herring milts

2 tablespoons butter

1 pint milk

2 tablespoons flour
 

Preparation / Directions:


make a smooth foundation sauce of butter, flour and milk. After boiling this sauce, add the herring milkt (rubbed through a sieve) and add salt and pepper to taste. This sauce tastes very well with boiled potatoes.
