Mild Red Chile Sauce

Ingredients:


3 teaspoons corn oil

2 teaspoons garlic

1/2 cup mild chile powder

3 cups beef stock

1 teaspoon kosher salt

1/4 teaspoon ground oregano

1/4 teaspoon ground cumin

1/8 teaspoon ground cloves

1/8 teaspoon ground cinnamon

1/8 teaspoon sugar

1 large egg

1/2 cup red bell pepper

2 teaspoons flour

1 cup tomato sauce

1/2 teaspoon liquid hot pepper sauce
 

Preparation / Directions:


heat oil in a large saucepan, over a medium flame add garlic and saute briefly reduce heat to low stir in 1 cup stock and chile powder heat and stir for 3-4 minutes, over a low flame, without burning stir in remaining ingredients-mix well bring to a boil, reduce heat, and simmer for 10 minutes skim well, cool cover and chill for 1-48 hours serve at room temperature
