Peach Ice Cream Sauce

Ingredients:


1 cup brown sugar

3 tablespoons cornstarch

1/4 teaspoon fine sea salt

1 cup water

1 medium the orange and lemon -- zest of

1/2 cup orange juice

2 tablespoons lemon juice

3 medium peaches -- (3 -4 peaches)-- peeled and diced

2 tablespoons butter
 

Preparation / Directions:


In heavy bottomed saucepan, combine all ingredients. Bring to a boil, reduce to simmer, and cook uncovered for 10-15 minutes, or until thickened and peaches are tender. Cool and serve over cakes or ice cream. Wonderful over gingerbread.
