Preparation / Directions:Drain cherries, reserving liquid. Set cherries aside. Combine sugar,
cornstarch, and reserved cherry liquid in a saucepan; stirring until smooth.
Add wine, lemon juice, and orange rind. Cook over medium heat, stirring
occasionally, until mixture thickens. Stir in cherries; cook until
thoroughly heated. Serve hot with ham or poultry.
