Rum-Flavored Fruit Sauce

Ingredients:


1/4 cup boiling water

1/4 cup raisins

4 medium ripe bananas -- peeled

1 medium orange -- peeled

1 medium lemon (2 tb) -- juice of

3/4 teaspoon rum extract (optional)
 

Preparation / Directions:


Pour the boiling water over the raisins and let stand until the raisins are plump. Then combine all the ingredients in a blender and puree until smooth. Delicious on pancakes, waffles, and French toast. Makes about 2 cups.
