Brandy Cream Sauce

Used with Marinated Tenderloin of Beef
 

Ingredients:


2 tablespoons margarine or butter

1/2 cup shallots or green onions finely chopped

1/2 cup brandy or beef broth

1 cup beef broth

1 cup sour cream
 

Preparation / Directions:


1. Melt margarine in 2-quart saucepan over medium heat. Cook shallots in margarine, stirring occasionally, until tender. 2. Stir in brandy and broth. Cook over medium-high heat about 5 minutes, stirring frequently, until mixture is slightly reduced; remove from heat. Stir in sour cream.
