1 Spray a large saucepan once with cooking spray and set over low heat. Add onions and cook, stirring often, until they begin to soften, about 2 minutes.
2 Add garlic, basil and oregano and stir for 15 seconds.
3 Stir in pureed tomatoes and tomato paste. Cover and cook for 25 minutes, stirring often.
