Tomato and Green Chile Soup

Ingredients:


1 can diced tomatoes -- 16 ounces

6 ounces polish sausage -- thinly sliced

1 cup onions -- thinly sliced

1 cup carrots -- julienned

1 can diced green chiles -- 4 ounces

4 ounces small mushrooms -- halved

1 cup chicken broth

1 teaspoon salt and pepper -- to taste
 

Preparation / Directions:


Put tomatoes into a large saucepan along with the sausage, onions, carrots, green chilies, mushrooms and broth. Bring the mixture to a boil over high heat. Cover, lower the heat and simmer for 25 minutes. Add salt and pepper to taste.
