Shrimp Creole A La Masson's

Ingredients:


1 tablespoon cooking oil

1 medium Onion chopped

1 package green onions -- chopped

2 medium celery ribs -- chopped

1 medium bell pepper -- sliced thin

2 cloves garlic -- chopped

1 dash thyme

3 pieces bay leaves

1 dash cayenne pepper

16 ounces can of tomatoes

3 ounces tomato paste

3 pounds shrimp -- peeled

4 cups cooked rice servings
 

Preparation / Directions:


Sauté onions, celery, bell pepper, garlic, thyme, cayenne pepper and bay leaves in cooking oil. Add tomatoes and tomato paste; simmer 15 minutes. Add peeled raw shrimp; simmer 10 minutes. Serve over hot rice.
