Garlic Shrimp - Master Recipe

Ingredients:


1/2 cup olive oil

10 cloves garlic -- sliced

3 pounds shrimp -- large or medium

1 tablespoon lemon juice
 

Preparation / Directions:


Heat the oil in a large, heavy skillet. Add the garlic. Remove from heat and let cool to room temperature. Peel and devein the shrimp; place in a large bowl. Pour the garlic mixture and lemon juice over; toss to coat. Cover and refrigerate for at least 1 hour and up to 1 day. See Notes for additional uses.
