Ingredients:


4 slices bacon -- diced

1 stalk celery -- diced

2 medium Onions -- sliced

4 medium green peppers -- cut in

1 clove garlic -- minced

32 ounces okra

16 ounces tomatoes

1/2 cup catsup

1 can beer

1 pound shrimp -- cooked

1 teaspoon salt and pepper

4 cups cooked rice
 

Preparation / Directions:


Cook bacon; reserve. Sauté celery, onions, green peppers and garlic in bacon fat until soft. Drain okra; add with tomatoes, catsup and beer. Simmer until thick. Add shrimp and bacon. Heat well. Season to taste with salt and pepper. Serve with rice.
