Biloxi-Style Appetizer Shrimp

Ingredients:


1 package shrimp and crab boil

2 cans beer -- 12 oz ea

24 ounces water

1 tablespoon Tabasco

1 tablespoon Worcestershire

1 teaspoon salt

1/2 teaspoon garlic powder

1/2 teaspoon pepper to taste

3 tablespoons fresh lemon or lime juice

5 pounds shrimp medium, peel -- devein

1 cup unsalted butter -- melt
 

Preparation / Directions:


Bring spice bag to boil in beer/water in large saucepan. Add remaining ingredients except for shrimp and butter. Simmer for 10 minutes to blend flavors. Arrange shrimp in an oven-proof casserole. Pour liquid over them. Pour melted butter over all. Bake at 350F for 15 minutes, stirring twice.
