H and H Baked Macaroni and Cheese

Ingredients:


1 tablespoon butter

3 cups milk

1 tablespoon all purpose flour

1 teaspoon salt

1 dash pepper

1 dash cayenne

2 cups shredded cheddar cheese

1/2 pound elbows cooked and drained

1/2 cup canned tomatoes drain and chop

1 teaspoon sugar
 

Preparation / Directions:


Pre-heat oven to 350 degrees. Melt butter - whisk in flour, then add milk, salt, and pepper and cayenne. Stir till thick and smooth, 8 to 10 min. Add cheese and cook until it melts. Remove from heat. In mixing bowl combine macaroni and sauce. Stir in tomatoes and sugar. Put in baking dish. Bake till brown 30-40 minutes.
