Preparation / Directions:Cut string or metal clips off ends of bologna, then cut the ring in half. Use your knife to slit the skin lengthwise on each half. Now you can easily peel off and discard the skin. Slice bologna into 1/4 inch pieces and place into a glass bowl or jar. Peel and cut the onion into thin rings and combine with the bologna. In a saucepan bring the remaining ingredients to a boil; reduce heat and simmer for five minutes. Remove from heat and allow to cool. Pour liquid over the bologna and onions, cover and refrigerate for at least 24 hours before serving.
