Preparation / Directions:


Basic Spread 2 8-oz. pkg. cream cheese, soft 1/2 C. sour cream 3 T. mayonnaise Beat cheese, add sour cream and mayo. Whip until smooth. Basic Spread will make one each of the following recipes. Yield: 2 2/3 C. Garlic: 1 1/2 tsp. garlic salt 1 tsp. Fines Herbs 1/8 tsp. Tabasco (or other hot) sauce 1 C. Basic Spread Mix all ingredients. Fill container and sprinkle with herbs. Serve with assorted crackers. Cheese: 1/3 C. Parmesan Cheese, grated 3/4 tsp. onion salt 1 tsp. Worcestershire sauce 1 C. basic spread Mix all ingredients. Fill container and sprinkle with Parmesan cheese. Serve with assorted crackers or apple wedges. Almond: 1/4 C. butter, soft 1/4 C. sugar 1/8 C. golden raisins 1/8 C. slivered almonds, lightly toasted 2/3 C. Basic Spread Mix all ingredients. Fill container and sprinkle with raisins or almonds. Serve with assorted fruits or crackers.
