Easy Beef Stew

Ingredients:


2 pounds stew meat -- cubed

2 cups onion -- cubed

4 cups potatoes -- cubed

2 cups carrots -- cubed

2 medium celery ribs -- cubed

1 can mushrooms -- (optional)

2 teaspoons salt

1/2 teaspoon pepper

5 tablespoons minute tapioca

3 cups v-8 juice
 

Preparation / Directions:


Place in crockpot in order given. Cook 5 to 5 1/2 hours on high or bake in oven proof dutch oven at 250 degrees F for 5 hours. May add frozen peas one hour before serving time.
