Tomato-Fish Cossack Stew

Ingredients:


2 medium Onions -- chopped

2 clove garlic

1 tablespoon oil

36 medium tomato peeled or stewed tomatos

8 ounces tomato sauce

2 tablespoons dill freshly chopped

1 teaspoon thyme leaves

1 tablespoon lemon juice fresh

3 pieces bay leaves

1/4 teaspoon black pepper

1 tablespoon parsley -- chopped

2 pounds fish -- boneless and cubed

1 medium potatoes
 

Preparation / Directions:


Cook onion and garlic in oil till tender. Cut up tomatoes. Peel and chop potato. Stir in undrained tomatoes, tomato sauce, potato, dill,bay leaves, thyme, and pepper. Bring to boil, reduce heat, cover, and simmer 30 minutes Stir in fish, lemon juice,and parsley. Bring to boil, reduce heat, cover and simmer 3-5 minutes more.
