Tapas of Grilled Bread

Ingredients:


12 slices French bread, cut into 3/4 inch thickness

2 cloves garlic

1 teaspoon Coarse salt

1/4 cup extra-virgin olive oil

6 medium very ripe Roma tomatoes

1 teaspoon freshly ground pepper

1/2 cup green Spanish olives

12 fillets anchovy fillets

12 slices Manchego cheese thin slices
 

Preparation / Directions:


Using the garlic masher, mash the garlic and add a pinch of salt. Mix with the oil. Brown the bread under a broiler just until golden on each side. Drizzle each slice with the garlic mixture, add tomatoes, pepper, olives, anchovy fillets, and cheese. Serve.
