Govenor Of New Mexico's Chicken Enchilada Casserole

Ingredients:


4 ounces chopped green chili

15 ounces enchilada sauce

1 Can cream of chicken soup

1 can Pet milk

2 Cups chicken broth

1 1/2 Dozen corn tortillas

2 Cups grated longhorn cheese

2 Tablespoons chopped onion

1 piece stewing chicken boned and chopped
 

Preparation / Directions:


Saute onions and chili in butter. Combine all liquids and add onion and chili. Greak tortillas into pieces, place in casserole in layers with chicken and cheese, ending with cheese. Pour liquid over all and refrigerate overnight. or several hours. bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour in preheated oven. I think some sour cream and the likes would go great with this too...
