Peanut Sauce - 5

Ingredients:


1/2 cup peanut butter

1 small onion -- grated

1 clove garlic -- crushed

1/4 cup instant dry milk

1/2 teaspoon honey

2 tablespoons lemon juice

2 teaspoons soy sauce

2 dashes Asian chile sauce
 

Preparation / Directions:


Blend in saucepan over low heat all ingredients. Adjust honey, lemon juice, soy sauce and Tabasco sauce to taste. Add hot water until the mixture has the consistency of heavy cream. Great possibilities: Over spaghetti with added sautéed mushrooms. Over rice or bulgur with added slivered almonds. Over tofu hot or cold. As a fondue, dip whole wheat bread cubes in it. As a dessert fondue, dip fruit slices in it.
