Holiday Fruit Salad

Ingredients:


3 packages strawberry flavored gelatin -- (3 oz.)

3 Cups boiling water

2 medium ripe bananas

1 packages frozen strawberries -- (16 oz.)

1 Can crushed pineapple -- (20 oz.)

1 packages cream cheese -- (8 oz.) softened

1 cup dairy sour cream or plain yogurt

1/4 Cup sugar

1 bunch crisp lettuce leaves
 

Preparation / Directions:


In large bowl, dissolve gelatin in boiling water. Slice bananas into gelatin mixture. Add frozen strawberries and undrained pineapple. Pour half of the mixture into 9x13inch pan. Refrigerate 1 hour or until firm. In mixer bowl, beat cream cheese with sour cream and sugar; spread over chilled layer. Gently spoon remaining gelatin mixture on top. Refrigerate until firm, about 2 hours. Cut into squares; serve on lettucelined salad plates. Garnish with additional pineapple, if desired.
