Baked Cheddar Tomatoes with Red Pepper |

Ingredients:
5 medium tomatoes cut in half crosswise |
2 tablespoons Olive oil |
3/4 teaspoon salt |
1 cup soft breadcrumbs |
1 cup shredded Cheddar cheese -- (4 oz.) |
1/4 cup butter -- melted |
1 teaspoon dried whole basil |
1/2 teaspoon red pepper |

Preparation / Directions:
Brush cut surface of tomato halves with olive oil; sprinkle with salt. Place tomato halves in a 13 x 9 x 2 inch baking dish.
Combine remaining ingredients; mix well. Spoon over cut surface of tomatoes.
Bake at 350 F for 12 to 15 minutes or until tomatoes are thoroughly heated and cheese melts.
