Watch heat with this recipe, syrup on the turkey can cause some quick browing. Was a difinate winner this thanksgiving. | ||||||

Preparation / Directions:Thaw turkey to label instructions, remove giblets and neck. Wash bird well, place in roaster or roasting pan. With knife slit skin over breast area placing pieces of butter just under skin throughout the breast of bird. Rub breast area with maple syrup. Peal, half, and core apples placing into bird’s cavity. Bake according to label instructions until meat thermometer reads 180 F. Continual basting with butter and sage mix is a must. Best turkey ever served extremely moist and tender.
