Crockpot Osso Buco (Veal Shanks) |

Ingredients:
4 fillets Veal shanks |
3 tablespoons Well seasoned flour |
1 Clove garlic |
3 tablespoons Olive oil |
1 cup Canned consomme |
2 tablespoons Tomato paste |
1 tablespoons Parsley -- chopped |
1/8 teaspoon Dried sage -- crushed |
1/2 teaspoon Black Pepper |

Preparation / Directions:
Roll shanks in flour and pepper and brown with garlic in hot oil in skillet. Add remaining ingredients to crockpot. Stir to mix. Add shanks. Cover pot and cook on LOW for 10 hours. Garnish with parsley. Serve with aborio rice.
